Acts 7:42-44
New Life Version
42 But God turned from them and let them worship the stars of heaven. This is written in the book of the early preachers, ‘Nation of Jews, was it to Me you gave gifts of sheep and cattle on the altar for forty years in the desert? 43 No, you set up the tent to worship the god of Molock and the star of your god Rompha. You made gods to worship them. I will carry you away to the other side of the country of Babylon.’ (A)

44 “Our early fathers had the tent to worship in. They used it in the desert. God told Moses to make it like the plan which he had seen.

New International Version
42 But God turned away from them(A) and gave them over to the worship of the sun, moon and stars.(B) This agrees with what is written in the book of the prophets:
“‘Did you bring me sacrifices and offerings
forty years in the wilderness, people of Israel?
43 You have taken up the tabernacle of Molek
and the star of your god Rephan,
the idols you made to worship.
Therefore I will send you into exile’[a](C) beyond Babylon.
44 “Our ancestors had the tabernacle of the covenant law(D) with them in the wilderness. It had been made as God directed Moses, according to the pattern he had seen.(E)
