47 “But Solomon built him a house.
48 “However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands. As says the Prophet,
49 ‘Heaven is My throne. And earth is My footstool. What house will you build for Me?’, says the Lord. ‘Or, what place is it that I should rest in?

47 But it was Solomon who built a house for him.(A)
48 “However, the Most High(B) does not live in houses made by human hands.(C) As the prophet says:
49 “‘Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool.(D)
What kind of house will you build for me?
says the Lord.
Or where will my resting place be?
