7 ‘And I Myself will judge the nation to which they will be enslaved,’ said God, ‘and (A)after that they will come out and [a]serve Me in this place.’ 8 And He (B)gave him [b]the covenant of circumcision; and so (C)Abraham was the father of Isaac, and circumcised him on the eighth day; and (D)Isaac was the father of Jacob, and (E)Jacob of the twelve (F)patriarchs.
9 “And the patriarchs, (G)becoming jealous of Joseph, sold him into Egypt. Yet God was with him,

New International Version
7 But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves,’ God said, ‘and afterward they will come out of that country and worship me in this place.’[a](A) 8 Then he gave Abraham the covenant of circumcision.(B) And Abraham became the father of Isaac and circumcised him eight days after his birth.(C) Later Isaac became the father of Jacob,(D) and Jacob became the father of the twelve patriarchs.(E)
9 “Because the patriarchs were jealous of Joseph,(F) they sold him as a slave into Egypt.(G) But God was with him(H)
