12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the things (A)concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized. 13 Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done.

14 Now when the (B)apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, 15 who, when they had come down, prayed for them (C)that they might receive the Holy Spirit. 16 For (D)as yet He had fallen upon none of them. (E)They had only been baptized in (F)the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 Then (G)they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

12 But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God(A) and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized,(B) both men and women. 13 Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles(C) he saw.

14 When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria(D) had accepted the word of God,(E) they sent Peter and John(F) to Samaria. 15 When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit,(G) 16 because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them;(H) they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.(I) 17 Then Peter and John placed their hands on them,(J) and they received the Holy Spirit.(K)
