38 And he ordered the [a]chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch, and he baptized him. 39 When they came up out of the water, (A)the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away, and the eunuch no longer saw him, [b]but went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip [c]found himself at [d](B)Azotus, and as he passed through he (C)kept proclaiming the gospel to all the cities until he came to (D)Caesarea.

New International Version
38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. 39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away,(A) and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing. 40 Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and traveled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns(B) until he reached Caesarea.(C)
