¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, “Go, for ^(A)he is a chosen ^[a]instrument of Mine, to bear My name before ^(B)the Gentiles and ^(C)kings and the sons of Israel;

¹⁵ But when ^[a]He who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and ^(A)called me through His grace was pleased ¹⁶ to reveal His Son in me so that I might ^(B)preach Him among the Gentiles, ^(C)I did not immediately consult with ^[b](D)flesh and blood, ^17 (E)nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to ^(F)Damascus.

¹⁸ Then ^(G)three years later I went up ^(H)to Jerusalem to ^[c]become acquainted with ^[d](I)Cephas, and stayed with him for fifteen days. ¹⁹ But I did not see another one of the apostles except ^[e](J)James, the Lord’s brother. ²⁰ (Now in what I am writing to you, ^[f]I assure you ^(K)before God that I am not lying.) ²¹ Then ^(L)I went into the regions of ^(M)Syria and ^(N)Cilicia. ²² I was still unknown by ^[g]sight to ^(O)the churches of Judea which are ^(P)in Christ; ²³ but they only kept hearing, “The man who once persecuted us is now preaching ^(Q)the faith which he once ^(R)tried to destroy.” ²⁴ And they ^(S)were glorifying God ^[h]because of me.
