¹⁹and ^(A)taking food, he was strengthened.

For ^(B)some days he was with the disciples at Damascus. ²⁰And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, saying, ^(C)“He is the Son of God.”

¹⁹and after taking some food, he regained his strength.

Saul spent several days with the disciples^(A) in Damascus.^(B) ²⁰At once he began to preach in the synagogues^(C) that Jesus is the Son of God.^(D)

²²But Saul ^(A)increased all the more in strength, and ^(B)confounded the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving ^(C)that Jesus was the Christ.

²²Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Messiah.^(A)
