27 But (A)Barnabas took hold of him and brought him to the apostles and described to them how he had (B)seen the Lord on the road, and that He had talked to him, and how (C)at Damascus he had (D)spoken out boldly in the name of Jesus. 28 And he was with them, [a]moving about freely in Jerusalem, (E)speaking out boldly in the name of the Lord. 29 And he was talking and arguing with the [b](F)Hellenistic Jews; but they were attempting to put him to death.

New International Version
27 But Barnabas(A) took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him,(B) and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus.(C) 28 So Saul stayed with them and moved about freely in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord. 29 He talked and debated with the Hellenistic Jews,[a](D) but they tried to kill him.(E)
