³ As he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and ^(A)suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him;

¹⁷ So Ananias departed and entered the house, and after ^(A)laying his hands on him said, “^(B)Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be ^(C)filled with the Holy Spirit.”

⁹ And the Lord said to Paul in the night by ^(A)a vision, “Do not be afraid any longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent;

¹⁴ And he said, ‘^(A)The God of our fathers has ^(B)appointed you to know His will and to ^(C)see the ^(D)Righteous One and to hear an ^[a]utterance from His mouth.

¹⁸ and I saw Him saying to me, ‘^(A)Make haste, and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about Me.’

¹¹ But on ^(A)the night immediately following, the Lord stood at his side and said, “^(B)Take courage; for ^(C)as you have ^(D)solemnly witnessed to My cause at Jerusalem, so you must witness at Rome also.”

⁸ and last of all, as ^[a]to one untimely born, ^(A)He appeared to me also.
