16 (A)And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

17 “Yet now, brethren, I know that (B)you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers. 18 But (C)those things which God foretold (D)by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. 19 (E)Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that He may send [a]Jesus Christ, who was [b]preached to you before, 21 (F)whom heaven must receive until the times of (G)restoration of all things, (H)which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since [c]the world began. 22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, (I)‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. 23 And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’ 24 Yes, and (J)all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also [d]foretold these days. 25 (K)You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, (L)‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ 26 To you (M)first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, (N)in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”

16 By faith in the name of Jesus,(A) this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

17 “Now, fellow Israelites,(B) I know that you acted in ignorance,(C) as did your leaders.(D) 18 But this is how God fulfilled(E) what he had foretold(F) through all the prophets,(G) saying that his Messiah would suffer.(H) 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out,(I) that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20 and that he may send the Messiah,(J) who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. 21 Heaven must receive him(K) until the time comes for God to restore everything,(L) as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.(M) 22 For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you.(N) 23 Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’[a](O)

24 “Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets(P) who have spoken have foretold these days. 25 And you are heirs(Q) of the prophets and of the covenant(R) God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’[b](S) 26 When God raised up(T) his servant, he sent him first(U) to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
