Continuing Power in the Church

12 And (A)through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. (B)And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch. 13 Yet (C)none of the rest dared join them, (D)but the people esteemed them highly. 14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, (E)that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. 16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing (F)sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

(A)And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading (B)concerning the things of the kingdom of God. But (C)when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil (D)of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus. 10 And (E)this continued for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

Miracles Glorify Christ

11 Now (F)God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 (G)so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.
