They trample the heads of the poor(A)
on the dust of the ground
and block the path of the needy.(B)
A man and his father have sexual relations
with the same girl,(C)
profaning My holy name.(D)
They stretch out beside every altar(E)
on garments taken as collateral,(F)
and in the house of their God,
they drink wine obtained through fines.(G)

Yet I destroyed the Amorite(H) as Israel advanced;
his height(I) was like the cedars,
and he was as sturdy as the oaks;
I destroyed his fruit(J) above and his roots beneath.
