Amos 5:23-25

²³Take thou away from Me the noise of thy shirim (songs); for I will not hear the melody of thy nevalim (harps).

²⁴But let mishpat run down as mayim, and tzedakah as a never failing stream.

²⁵Did ye offer unto Me zevakhim and minchah in the midbar arba’im shanah, O Bais Yisroel?

²³Away with the noise of your songs!
I will not listen to the music of your harps.^(A)
²⁴But let justice^(B) roll on like a river,
righteousness^(C) like a never-failing stream!^(D)

²⁵“Did you bring me sacrifices^(E) and offerings
forty years^(F) in the wilderness, people of Israel?
