7 Therefore, they will now (A)go into exile at the head of the exiles,
And the (B)sprawlers’ [a]banqueting will [b]pass away.
8 The Lord [c]God has (C)sworn by Himself, the Lord God of hosts has declared:
“I (D)loathe the arrogance of Jacob,
And [d]detest his (E)citadels;
Therefore I will (F)deliver up the city and [e]all it contains.”
9 And it will be, if (G)ten men are left in one house, they will die.

7 Therefore you will be among the first to go into exile;(A)
your feasting and lounging will end.(B)
The Lord Abhors the Pride of Israel
8 The Sovereign Lord has sworn by himself(C)—the Lord God Almighty declares:
“I abhor(D) the pride of Jacob(E)
and detest his fortresses;(F)
I will deliver up(G) the city
and everything in it.(H)”
9 If ten(I) people are left in one house, they too will die.
