6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer everyone.

7 Tychicus, a dear brother, faithful minister, and fellow slave[a] in the Lord, will tell you all the news about me.[b] 8 I sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are doing[c] and that he may encourage your hearts.
