¹³ But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was standing ^[a]in my way for twenty-one days; then behold, ^(A)Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.

²¹ However, I will tell you what is recorded in the writing of ^(A)truth. Yet there is no one who ^[a]stands firmly with me against these forces except ^(B)Michael your prince.

The Time of the End

12 “Now at that time ^(A)Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a ^(B)time of distress ^(C)such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the ^(D)book, will be rescued.

⁹ But ^(A)Michael ^(B)the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about ^(C)the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said, “^(D)The Lord rebuke you!”
