18 “Then this person who looked like a man touched me again and strengthened me 19 and said, ‘Don’t be afraid, man highly regarded. Be at peace, and be strong.’
“As soon as he spoke to me, I gained strength and replied, ‘Sir, please[a] speak, now that you’ve strengthened me.’
20 “Then he said, ‘Do you understand why I came to you? Soon I’ll return to fight the prince of Persia. I’m going forth to war—and take note—the prince of Greece[b] is coming!

18 Again the one who looked like a man touched(A) me and gave me strength.(B) 19 “Do not be afraid, you who are highly esteemed,”(C) he said. “Peace!(D) Be strong now; be strong.”(E)
When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength.”(F)
20 So he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Soon I will return to fight against the prince of Persia, and when I go, the prince of Greece(G) will come;
