40 “At the (A)time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him (B)like a whirlwind, with chariots, (C)horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: (D)Edom, Moab, and the [a]prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of (E)Egypt shall not escape.

He will invade many countries and sweep through them like a flood.(C) 41 He will also invade the Beautiful Land.(D) Many countries will fall, but Edom,(E) Moab(F) and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand. 42 He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape.
