Daniel 12:6-8 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

One of them said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long until the end of these extraordinary things?” Then I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river. He raised both his hands[a] toward heaven and swore by Him who lives eternally that it would be for a time, times, and half a time. When the power of the holy people is shattered, all these things will be completed.

I heard but did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”

The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time.[a] When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.

I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”
