Daniel 2:12

¹²For this reason the king was angry and very furious, and gave the command to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.

New International Version

¹²This made the king so angry and furious^(A) that he ordered the execution^(B) of all the wise men of Babylon.

¹³So the decree went out, and they began killing the wise men; and they sought ^(A)Daniel and his companions, to kill them.

¹³So the decree was issued to put the wise men to death, and men were sent to look for Daniel and his friends to put them to death.^(A)

⁶and whoever does not fall down and worship shall ^(A)be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.”

⁶Whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace.”^(A)
