Daniel 2:18-20
New King James Version

18 (A)that they might seek mercies from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. 19 Then the secret was revealed to Daniel (B)in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

20 Daniel answered and said:

(C)“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
(D)For wisdom and might are His.

New International Version

18 He urged them to plead for mercy(A) from the God of heaven(B) concerning this mystery,(C) so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. 19 During the night the mystery(D) was revealed to Daniel in a vision.(E) Then Daniel praised the God of heaven(F) 20 and said:

“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;(G)
    wisdom and power(H) are his.
