³⁷ Your Majesty, you are king of kings.^(A) The God of the heavens has given you sovereignty, power,^(B) strength, and glory.

²⁵ But he said to them,^(A) “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who have authority over them have themselves called^[a] ‘Benefactors.’

¹⁵ God will bring this about in his own time.^(A) He is the blessed and only^(B) Sovereign, the King of kings,^(C) and the Lord of lords,^(D)

¹⁴ These will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings.^(A) Those with him are called, chosen, and faithful.”^(B)

¹⁶ And he has a name written on his robe and on his thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.^(A)
