Daniel 3:28-30

²⁸Nebuchadnezzar responded and said, “Blessed be the ^(A)God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, who has ^(B)sent His angel and delivered His servants who put their ^(C)trust in Him, ^[a]violating the king’s command, and yielded up their bodies so as ^(D)not to serve or worship any god except their own God. ²⁹Therefore I ^(E)make a decree that any people, nation or tongue that speaks anything offensive against the God of ^(F)Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego shall be torn limb from limb and their ^(G)houses reduced to a rubbish heap, inasmuch as there is ^(H)no other god who is able to deliver in this way.” ³⁰Then the king ^(I)caused Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego to prosper in the province of Babylon.

They trusted^(C) in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.^(D) ²⁹Therefore I decree^(E) that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble,^(F) for no other god can save^(G) in this way.”
