⁴ Then the herald loudly called out: “To you it is said, ^(A)O peoples, nations, and men of every tongue,

¹⁹ And because of the grandeur which He bestowed on him, all the peoples, nations, and men of every tongue feared and were in dread before him; ^(A)whomever he wished he killed, and whomever he wished he kept alive, and whomever he wished he raised up, and whomever he wished he made low.

A Multitude from Every Nation

⁹ After these things I looked, and behold, a great ^[a]multitude which no one could count, from ^(A)every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing ^(B)before the throne and ^(C)before the Lamb, clothed in ^(D)white robes, and ^(E)palm branches were in their hands;

¹¹ And ^(A)they *said to me, “You must ^(B)prophesy again about ^(C)many peoples and nations and tongues and ^(D)kings.”

⁹ And those from ^(A)the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead ^[a]bodies for three and a half days, and ^[b](B)will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.

⁷ And it was also given to him to ^(A)make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over ^(B)every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him.

The Messages of the Three Angels

⁶ Then I saw another angel flying in ^(A)midheaven, having ^(B)an eternal gospel to proclaim to ^(C)those who ^[a]inhabit the earth, and to ^(D)every nation and tribe and tongue and people.

¹⁵ And he *said to me, “The ^(A)waters which you saw where the harlot sits, are ^(B)peoples and crowds and nations and tongues.
