Daniel 4:26-28

26 And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots, thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee after thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.
27 Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee; and break off thy sins by righteousness and thine iniquities by showing mercy to the poor, that it may be a lengthening of thy tranquility.”
28 All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar.

26 The command to leave the stump of the tree with its roots(A) means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules.(B) 27 Therefore, Your Majesty, be pleased to accept my advice: Renounce your sins by doing what is right, and your wickedness by being kind to the oppressed.(C) It may be that then your prosperity(D) will continue.(E)”
