36 When my own mind returned to me, I also received my authority again as king. People respected me as a great king again. My officers and important men came back to work with me. I ruled again over my kingdom. I became even greater than I was before. 37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise the King of heaven as a great God. He always does what is right and fair. When people are proud, he can cause them to become humble.

36 At the same time that my sanity was restored, my honor and splendor were returned to me for the glory of my kingdom.(A) My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored to my throne and became even greater than before. 37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt(B) and glorify(C) the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just.(D) And those who walk in pride(E) he is able to humble.(F)
