Daniel 6:20-22
New English Translation
20 As he approached the den, he called out to Daniel in a worried voice,[a] “Daniel, servant of the living God, was your God whom you continually serve able to rescue you from the lions?”
21 Then Daniel spoke to[b] the king, “O king, live forever! 22 My God sent his angel and closed the lions’ mouths so that they have not harmed me, because I was found to be innocent before him. Nor have I done any harm to you, O king.”

New International Version
20 When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”(A)
21 Daniel answered, “May the king live forever!(B) 22 My God sent his angel,(C) and he shut the mouths of the lions.(D) They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight.(E) Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”
