Daniel 6:21-23
Good News Translation
21 Daniel answered, “May Your Majesty live forever! 22 (A)God sent his angel to shut the mouths of the lions so that they would not hurt me. He did this because he knew that I was innocent and because I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.”
23 The king was overjoyed and gave orders for Daniel to be pulled up out of the pit. So they pulled him up and saw that he had not been hurt at all, for he trusted God.

New International Version
21 Daniel answered, “May the king live forever!(A) 22 My God sent his angel,(B) and he shut the mouths of the lions.(C) They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight.(D) Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”
23 The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound(E) was found on him, because he had trusted(F) in his God.
