21 Then Daniel spoke to[a] the king, “O king, live forever![b] 22 My God sent his angel and he shut the mouth of the lions and they did not[c] hurt me, because[d] before him I was found[e] blameless, and also before you, O king, I have not done any wrong.”

23 Then the king was exceedingly glad over it[f] and commanded that Daniel be lifted up from the pit; and there was not any wound found on him, because he had trusted in his God.

23 The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound(E) was found on him, because he had trusted(F) in his God.
