11 Yes, it even considered itself as great as the prince of the army; the regular burnt offering was taken away from him, and the place of his sanctuary was thrown down. 12 Through sin, the army was put in its power, along with the regular burnt offering. It flung truth on the ground as it acted and prospered.
13 Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the speaker, “How long will the events of the vision last, this vision concerning the regular offering and the transgression which is so appalling, that allows the sanctuary and the army to be trampled underfoot?”

11 It set itself up to be as great as the commander(A) of the army of the Lord;(B) it took away the daily sacrifice(C) from the Lord, and his sanctuary was thrown down.(D) 12 Because of rebellion, the Lord’s people[a] and the daily sacrifice were given over to it. It prospered in everything it did, and truth was thrown to the ground.(E)
13 Then I heard a holy one(F) speaking, and another holy one said to him, “How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled(G)—the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, the surrender of the sanctuary and the trampling underfoot(H) of the Lord’s people?”
