16 and on the Ulai I heard a human voice that cried out, “Gabriel,[a] explain the vision to this man.” 17 When he came near where I was standing, I fell prostrate in terror. But he said to me, “Understand, O son of man, that the vision refers to the end time.”[b] 18 As he spoke to me, I fell forward unconscious; he touched me and made me stand up.

New International Version
16 And I heard a man’s voice from the Ulai(A) calling, “Gabriel,(B) tell this man the meaning of the vision.”(C)
17 As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate.(D) “Son of man,”[a] he said to me, “understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”(E)
18 While he was speaking to me, I was in a deep sleep, with my face to the ground.(F) Then he touched me and raised me to my feet.(G)
