17 So he came near where I stood, and when he came, I became frightened and fell prostrate. But he said to me, “Understand, O mortal,[a] that the vision is for the time of the end.”(A)
18 As he was speaking to me, I fell into a trance, face to the ground; then he touched me and set me on my feet.(B) 19 He said, “Listen, and I will tell you what will take place later in the period of wrath, for it refers to the appointed time of the end.(C)

17 As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate.(A) “Son of man,”[a] he said to me, “understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”(B)
18 While he was speaking to me, I was in a deep sleep, with my face to the ground.(C) Then he touched me and raised me to my feet.(D)
19 He said: “I am going to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath,(E) because the vision concerns the appointed time(F) of the end.[b](G)
