And out of one of them came forth a [a]little horn, which waxed very great toward the [b]South, and toward the [c]East, and toward the [d]pleasant land.

10 Yea, it grew up unto the [e]host of heaven, and it cast down some of the host, and of the stars to the ground, and trode upon them,

11 And extolled himself against the [f]prince of the host, from whom the [g]daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his Sanctuary was cast down.
