12 Thus He has (A)established His words which He had spoken against us and against our (B)judges who judged us, to bring on us great calamity; for under the whole heaven there has (C)not been done anything like what was done to Jerusalem. 13 As it is written in the [a](D)law of Moses, all this calamity has come on us; yet we have (E)not [b]entreated the favor of Yahweh our God by (F)turning from our iniquity and acting wisely in Your truth. 14 Therefore Yahweh has (G)watched over the calamity and brought it on us; for Yahweh our God is (H)righteous with respect to all His deeds which He has done, but we have not listened to His voice.

12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.

13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.

14 Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
