Daniel 9:15-17

15 “Now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with great power[a] and made a name for yourself that is remembered to this day—we have sinned and behaved wickedly. 16 O Lord, according to all your justice,[b] please turn your raging anger[c] away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain. For due to our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors, Jerusalem and your people are mocked by all our neighbors.
17 “So now, our God, accept[d] the prayer and requests of your servant, and show favor to[e] your devastated sanctuary for your own sake.[f]

15 “Now, Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand(A) and who made for yourself a name(B) that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. 16 Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts,(C) turn away(D) your anger and your wrath(E) from Jerusalem,(F) your city, your holy hill.(G) Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn(H) to all those around us.
17 “Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favor(I) on your desolate sanctuary.
