Daniel 9:20-22
The Voice
20 For much of the day I was pleading and praying, confessing my sin and the sins of my people Israel, presenting my case to the Eternal One my God on behalf of Jerusalem, His holy mountain. 21 About the time of the evening sacrifice, while I was still pleading and praying and almost completely exhausted, the man Gabriel, who had appeared to me in an earlier vision, appeared again and reached out to me.
Gabriel (to me): 22 Daniel, I have come for one purpose: to offer you insight and understanding into these matters.

20 While I was speaking and praying, confessing(A) my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the Lord my God for his holy hill(B)— 21 while I was still in prayer, Gabriel,(C) the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice.(D) 22 He instructed me and said to me, “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding.(E)
