22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, “O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand. 23 At the beginning of your supplications the [a]command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly (A)beloved; therefore (B)consider the matter, and understand the vision:

24 “Seventy [b]weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression,
[c]To make an end of sins,
(C)To make reconciliation for iniquity,
(D)To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
(E)And to anoint [d]the Most Holy.

25 “Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until (F)Messiah (G)the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The [e]street shall be built again, and the [f]wall,
Even in troublesome times.

25 “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild(H) Jerusalem until the Anointed One,[d](I) the ruler,(J) comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble.(K)
