²⁶ And in that it was commanded to ^(A)leave the stump ^[a]with the roots of the tree, your kingdom will be ^[b]assured to you after you recognize that it is ^(B)Heaven that rules.

²³ but you have ^(A)exalted yourself against the ^(B)Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines have been drinking wine from them; and you have praised the ^(C)gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which do not see, hear or understand.
