4 The Lord[a] then wrote on the tablets the same words,[b] the Ten Commandments,[c] which he[d] had spoken to you at the mountain from the middle of the fire at the time of that assembly, and he[e] gave them to me.

4 The Lord wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments(A) he had proclaimed(B) to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly.(C) And the Lord gave them to me.
