13 Bring you men of wisdom and of understanding, and [a]known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you:
14 Then he answered me and said, the thing is good that thou hast commanded us to do.
15 So I took the chief of your tribes, [b]wise and known men, and made them rulers over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifty, and captains over ten, and officers among your tribes.

New International Version
13 Choose some wise, understanding and respected men(A) from each of your tribes, and I will set them over you.”
14 You answered me, “What you propose to do is good.”
15 So I took(B) the leading men of your tribes,(C) wise and respected men,(D) and appointed them to have authority over you—as commanders(E) of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens and as tribal officials.(F)
