3 On the first day of the eleventh month in the fortieth year after they had left Egypt, Moses told the Israelites everything Yahweh had commanded him to tell them. 4 This was after he had defeated King Sihon of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon, and King Og of Bashan, who ruled in Ashtaroth and[a] in Edrei.

2 (It takes eleven days to go from Horeb(A) to Kadesh Barnea(B) by the Mount Seir(C) road.)(D)
3 In the fortieth year,(E) on the first day of the eleventh month,(F) Moses proclaimed(G) to the Israelites all that the Lord had commanded him concerning them. 4 This was after he had defeated Sihon(H) king of the Amorites,(I) who reigned in Heshbon,(J) and at Edrei had defeated Og(K) king of Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth.(L)
