35 ‘Not one of these—not one of this evil generation—shall see the good land that I swore to give to your ancestors, 36 except Caleb son of Jephunneh. He shall see it, and to him and to his descendants I will give the land on which he set foot, because of his complete fidelity to the Lord.’ 37 Even with me the Lord was angry on your account, saying, ‘You also shall not enter there.

35 “No one from this evil generation shall see the good land(A) I swore to give your ancestors, 36 except Caleb(B) son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on, because he followed the Lord wholeheartedly.(C)”
37 Because of you the Lord became angry(D) with me also and said, “You shall not enter(E) it, either.
