36 except Caleb the son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land on which he has set foot, because he followed the Lord completely.’
37 “The Lord was angry with me also because of you and said: ‘You will not enter there either.(A) 38 Joshua son of Nun, who attends you, will enter it. Encourage him, for he will enable Israel to inherit it.(B)

36 except Caleb(A) son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on, because he followed the Lord wholeheartedly.(B)”
37 Because of you the Lord became angry(C) with me also and said, “You shall not enter(D) it, either. 38 But your assistant, Joshua(E) son of Nun, will enter it. Encourage(F) him, because he will lead(G) Israel to inherit(H) it.
