^16 (A)So circumcise ^[a]your heart, and ^(B)stiffen your neck no longer.

⁶ “Moreover ^(A)Yahweh your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, ^(B)to love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live.

²⁵ “Behold, the days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “that I will punish all who are circumcised and yet ^(A)uncircumcised— ²⁶ Egypt and Judah, and Edom and the sons of Ammon, and Moab and ^(B)all those inhabiting the desert who clip the hair on their temples; for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are ^(C)uncircumcised of heart.”

²⁸ For ^(A)he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. ²⁹ But ^(B)he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and ^(C)circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the ^(D)Spirit, not by the letter; ^(E)and his praise is not from men, but from God.
