In that time I separated the lineage of Levi, that it should bear the ark of the bond of peace of the Lord, and it should stand before him in service, and should bless in his name, into this present day. (At that time the Lord set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord, and to stand before him in service, that is, to minister to him, and to bless in his name, which they continue to do unto this present day.)

(The Israelites traveled from the wells of Bene Jaakan to Moserah.(A) There Aaron died(B) and was buried, and Eleazar(C) his son succeeded him as priest.(D) From there they traveled to Gudgodah and on to Jotbathah, a land with streams of water.(E) At that time the Lord set apart the tribe of Levi(F) to carry the ark of the covenant(G) of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister(H) and to pronounce blessings(I) in his name, as they still do today.(J)
