11 then there will be the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide. There you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the heave offerings of your hand, and all your choice offerings which you vow to the Lord. 12 And (A)you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your sons and your daughters, your male and female servants, and the (B)Levite who is within your gates, since he has no portion nor inheritance with you. 13 Take heed to yourself that you do not offer your burnt offerings in every place that you see; 14 but in the place which the Lord chooses, in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command you.
15 “However, (C)you may slaughter and eat meat within all your gates, whatever your heart desires, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you; (D)the unclean and the clean may eat of it, (E)of the gazelle and the deer alike. 16 (F)Only you shall not eat the blood; you shall pour it on the earth like water. 17 You may not eat within your gates the tithe of your grain or your new wine or your oil, of the firstborn of your herd or your flock, of any of your offerings which you vow, of your freewill offerings, or of the [a]heave offering of your hand. 18 But you must eat them before the Lord your God in the place which the Lord your God chooses, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, and the Levite who is within your gates; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God in [b]all to which you put your hands.

11 (A)then it shall come about that the place in which the Lord your God will choose for His name to dwell, there you shall bring everything that I command you: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the [a]contribution of your hand, and all your choice vowed offerings which you will vow to the Lord. 12 And you shall (B)rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your sons and daughters, your male and female slaves, and the (C)Levite who is within your gates, since (D)he has no portion or inheritance with you.
13 “(E)Be careful that you do not offer your burnt offerings in any cultic place that you see, 14 but only in the place which the Lord chooses in one of your tribes: there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do everything that I command you.
15 “(F)However, you may slaughter and eat meat within any of your gates, [b]whatever you desire, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you; the unclean and the clean alike may eat it, as (G)the gazelle and the deer. 16 (H)Only you shall not eat the blood; (I)you are to pour it out on the ground like water. 17 (J)You are not allowed to eat within your gates the tithe of your grain, new wine, or oil, or the firstborn of your herd or flock, or any of your vowed offerings which you vow, or your [c]voluntary offerings, or the [d]contribution of your hand. 18 But (K)you shall eat them before the Lord your God in (L)the place which the Lord your God will choose, you and your son and daughter, and your male and female slaves, and the (M)Levite who is within your gates; and you shall (N)rejoice before the Lord your God in all [e]your undertakings.

11 then it shall come about that the place which the Lord your God will choose for His Name [and Presence] to dwell; there you shall bring everything that I am commanding you: your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes and the [voluntary] contribution of your hand [as a first gift from the fruits of the ground], and all your choice votive offerings which you vow to the Lord. 12 And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your sons and your daughters, and your male and female servants, and the Levite who is within your [city] gates, since he has no portion or inheritance with you.
13 “Be careful that you do not offer your burnt offerings in every [cultic] place you see, 14 but [only] in the place which the Lord will choose in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do everything that I am commanding you.
15 “However, you may slaughter and eat meat within any of your [city] gates, whatever you wish, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you [as His generous provision for daily life]. The [ceremonially] unclean and the clean may eat it, such as the gazelle and the deer. 16 Only you shall not eat the blood; you are to pour it out on the ground like water. 17 You are forbidden to eat within your [city] gates the tithe of your grain or new wine or oil, or the firstborn of your herd or flock, or any of your votive offerings, or your freewill offerings, or the contribution of your hand. 18 But you shall eat them before the Lord your God in the place which the Lord your God will choose, you and your son and your daughter, and your male and female servants, and the Levite who is within your [city] gates; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God in all [a]that you undertake.

11 Then to the place the Lord your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name(A)—there you are to bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, and all the choice possessions you have vowed to the Lord.(B) 12 And there rejoice(C) before the Lord your God—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites(D) from your towns who have no allotment or inheritance(E) of their own. 13 Be careful not to sacrifice your burnt offerings anywhere you please.(F) 14 Offer them only at the place the Lord will choose(G) in one of your tribes, and there observe everything I command you.
15 Nevertheless, you may slaughter your animals in any of your towns and eat as much of the meat as you want, as if it were gazelle or deer,(H) according to the blessing the Lord your God gives you. Both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat it. 16 But you must not eat the blood;(I) pour(J) it out on the ground like water.(K) 17 You must not eat in your own towns the tithe(L) of your grain and new wine and olive oil,(M) or the firstborn of your herds and flocks, or whatever you have vowed to give,(N) or your freewill offerings or special gifts.(O) 18 Instead, you are to eat(P) them in the presence of the Lord your God at the place the Lord your God will choose(Q)—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites from your towns—and you are to rejoice(R) before the Lord your God in everything you put your hand to.
