¹⁸ But ^(A)you shall eat them before the Lord your God in ^(B)the place which the Lord your God will choose, you and your son and daughter, and your male and female slaves, and the ^(C)Levite who is within your gates; and you shall ^(D)rejoice before the Lord your God in all ^[a]your undertakings. ^19 (E)Be careful that you do not abandon the Levite ^[b]as long as you live in your land.

¹¹ and you, ^(A)the Levite, and the stranger who is among you shall ^(B)rejoice in all the good which the Lord your God has given you and your household.

¹² “^(C)When you have finished paying all the tithe of your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, then you shall give it to the Levite, to the stranger, to the ^[a]orphan, and to the widow, so that they may eat in your ^[b]towns and be satisfied. ¹³ And you shall say before the Lord your God, ‘I have removed the sacred portion from my house, and have also given it to the Levite, the stranger, the ^[c]orphan, and the widow, in accordance with all Your commandments which You have commanded me; ^(D)I have not violated or forgotten any of Your commandments.
