⁷ And ^(A)there you shall eat before the Lord your God, and ^(B)you shall rejoice in ^[a]all to which you have put your hand, you and your households, in which the Lord your God has blessed you.

^11 (A)You shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite who is within your gates, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are among you, at the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide.

¹² I know that nothing is ^(A)better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives,

¹³ and also that ^(A)every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.

¹⁸ Here is what I have seen: ^(A)It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; ^(B)for it is his ^[a]heritage. ¹⁹ As for ^(C)every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his ^[b]heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the ^(D)gift of God. ²⁰ For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart.
