²³ You shall eat in the presence of the Lord your God, ^(A)at the place where He chooses to establish His name, the tithe of your grain, your new wine, your oil, and the firstborn of your herd and your flock, so that you may ^(B)learn to fear the Lord your God always.

¹⁹ And it shall be with him, and he shall read it ^(A)all the days of his life, so that he will learn to fear the Lord his God, ^[a]by carefully following all the words of this Law and these statutes,

¹² Assemble the people, the men, the women, the children, and the stranger who is in your ^[a]town, so that they may hear and ^(A)learn and fear the Lord your God, and be careful to ^[b]follow all the words of this Law. ¹³ And their children, who have not known, will hear and learn to fear the Lord your God, as long as you live on the land ^[c]which you are about to cross the Jordan to ^[d]possess.”
