^21 (A)But if it has any ^[a]defect, such as lameness or blindness, or any serious ^[b]defect, you shall not sacrifice it to the Lord your God.

17 “^(A)You shall not sacrifice to the Lord your God an ox or a sheep which has a blemish or any ^[a]defect, for that is a detestable thing to the Lord your God.

⁸ But when you present the ^(A)blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? And when you present the lame and sick, is it not evil? ^[a]Why not offer it to your ^(B)governor? Would he be pleased with you? Or would he receive you kindly?” says the Lord of hosts.

¹⁴ “But cursed be the ^(A)swindler who has a male in his flock and vows it, but sacrifices a ^(B)blemished animal to the Lord, for I am a great ^(C)King,” says the Lord of hosts, “and My name is ^[a](D)feared among the ^[b]nations.”

¹⁴ how much more will ^(A)the blood of Christ, who through ^[a](B)the eternal Spirit ^(C)offered Himself without blemish to God, ^(D)cleanse ^[b]your conscience from ^(E)dead works to serve ^(F)the living God?

¹⁹ but with precious ^(A)blood, as of a ^(B)lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.
